If you’re Irish, you probably understand the urge to pack your suitcase full of your favourite Irish products before heading abroad. We all know someone who packs a sandwich bag full of Lyons teabags for a holiday to Lanzarote! Now, we will give you the benefit of the doubt if you're emigrating to a place like the UAE. We are all gluttons for a taste of home! So please, please, please (Sabrina Carpenter is that you?) save that golden luggage space and leave the panic buying at home!

Xpat Box
Come back to me when you have found the best company ever based in the UAE for getting that precious Irish and UK half way across the world. Xpat box stocks all of the best products like Ballymaloe relish, Tayto crisps, Lyons and Barrys teabags, McDonald's curry sauce, Cadbury's chocolate and Flahavan's oats! I also managed to squeeze a little discount code from the legends at Xpat box for you all, which is NADINE10.
SuperValu at Kibsons
Kibsons' philosophy of 'supporting local' reaches far beyond borders, extending to Ireland through its recent partnership with the renowned Irish supermarket, SuperValu. With most SuperValu products made in Ireland, customers in the UAE can now savor an authentic Irish experience. For the UAE’s Irish community, this means enjoying a taste of home, even when far away!

So Sue Cosmetics Fake Tan

For us pale skinned girlies, we do not want to be frying our skin in the sun to no avail of getting a colour, but some of us also want to have glowing skin when we get so much of our skin out in a hotter climate, to feel more confident. Do not worry about the dreaded cargo of your fake tan making its way from Ireland, thrown from Peter to Paul on a stopover, wrapped in copious amounts of cellotape, with the hopes of it not exploding over your new white, Penneys popsocks! Pretty Little Thing AE stock our Irish fave So Sue Cosmetics tan. With discounts on the website being a common occurance, what would we be doing using our suitcase space for tan?!
Some other tips and tricks...
Amazon ae has fast delivery and has lots of brands stocked online that you typically get at home. Have a look!
Viva supermarket, I have found, is like your UAE version of Lidl/ Aldi. It's available on Instashop, but I would recommend going into the shop physically as they don't seem to put everything online.
McCafferty's bar is available on Deliveroo and has a tuck shop which stocks Irish goodies like Tayto and Barrys teabags if you want an Irish fix on demand. They even stock Irish soda bread!
Now, to make things 100% Irish over here, all we need are petrol stations to open up a deli and get serving some hot chicken fillet rolls! A girl can dream, right?
